Exhibition: September 26th - October 17th, 2013
Twelve queer and allied artists from the Bay Area and around the world explore the pride, pleasure, and dangers of transgressing society's heterosexist and patriarchal norms. Through a diverse range of mediums including painting, photography, film, and graphic design, the exhibition explores the boundaries and concepts of male, female, and trans identities through each artists' personal experiences. The exhibit aspires to illustrate the vitality and diversity of LGBTQ culture and contemporary art and advocates for a more equitable society.
